Famous Author Visits Key Largo Conch House - Again! by Jill Stevens
Free Press March 3, 2010 Joel Pierson, author of Don't Kill The Messenger, a novel set in the Florida Keys, visited Key Largo, Key Largo Conch House is the inspiration for pages 33-34 of his book where the character mentions going to his favorite, local's establishment for a conch and tomato omelet breakfast. He brought us a signed copy of that book on his last visit. We are thrilled to have a place our wonderful customers visit time and time again. On this trip, Joel graciously gifted us a copy of book two of the Trilogy, The Messenger Adrift.

Mr. Food and his wife made 3 visits to the Key Largo Conch House in December 2007. He exchanged cookbooks with Laura. He said he'll be making one of her recipes on his nationally syndicated show.
